Compulsory insurance of civil liability related to the use of immovable property

Compulsory insurance of civil liability related to the use of immovable property is provided for by Chapter 3 of the Special Article of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Compulsory Insurance". Compulsory civil liability insurance in connection with the use of immovable property is applied in order to compensate for damage to health and property of third parties during the operation of the relevant property, including construction, repair, reconstruction or other work with property.

Compulsory insurance of civil liability for the use of property for these purposes is understood as buildings, structures, land plots that are real estate used by legal entities to carry out their activities, as well as individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities without creating a legal entity. Third party liability insurance in connection with the use of any of the above property is compulsory.

Compulsory civil liability insurance for the use of immovable property is buildings, structures, houses, areas of immovable property used by legal entities to carry out their activities, as well as by individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities without forming a legal entity.
